WHY YOU NEED CERAMIC COATING

SUNGUARD AUSTRALIA

The method of providing a surface layer that repels dry particles, water, oil, and dirt is known as nano coating.

The coating has hydrophobic effect. Any liquid that comes in contact with the surface will roll off together with any light dirt and grime, keeping your car cleaner for longer and easier to clean. It  provides the best protection from damaging UV Rays, environmental contaminants and harsh chemicals that can damage cars paint.

FAQ Regarding Ceramics

How long does ceramic coating last?

It varies depending on the product and how you treat your automobile during that time, but on average, it lasts anywhere from 2 to 5 years if properly maintained. Some manufacturers claim that their Ceramic Coating will last significantly longer.

If you do not properly maintain the exterior of your car, the ceramic coating may deteriorate more quickly.

How long does it take for ceramic coating to cure fully?

Ceramic Coating hardens in about 24 hours after being applied according to directions, but it continues to cure and fully adheres to the car’s paint in about 1 week, though some brands may take longer. It’s crucial to keep in mind that the Ceramic Coating will not cure at the same rate due to factors such as weather, temperature, and humidity.

So, the best course of action is to study the manufacturer’s instructions and follow them exactly.

Is ceramic coating a shield?

No. Ceramic Coating is a paint protection compound that, to some extent, protects your car’s paint. It isn’t a magical forcefield, but it does have some extraordinary features that aid it in performing its duties effectively.

Once fully dried, it adheres to your car’s paint, usually the clear coat layer, and forms a hard, smooth surface that resists damage, is fairly resistant to strong chemicals, and has great heat resistance.

It’s also resistant to UV radiation from the sun as well as the elements. It has incredible hydrophobic properties, and the smooth surface not only prevents water from adhering to it, but also prevents dirt from adhering to it.

Does Ceramic Coating create a perfectly flat surface?

It all relies on the state of your car’s paint before to application of the coating. All of these hills and valleys are caused by damage to a car’s paint. And because Ceramic Covering is based on nanotechnology, which means its molecules are extremely small compared to wax or sealants, it will trace all of the defects and leave a thin protective coating on it once dried and cured.

As a result, the surface will not be perfectly flat in regions where there has been damage, but will instead have a smoothing effect.
